Accessibility statement

Built so everyone can use it

We want this site to work for every visitor, whatever device, input method or assistive technology they use.

What we aim for

We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We have not had the site independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a finished checkbox.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks, a logical heading order and a "skip to content" link on every page
  • Full keyboard operation for the navigation menu, mobile menu, tabs, sliders, accordions and forms, with visible focus indicators
  • Labels on every form field, errors announced in text and not by color alone, and no time limits
  • Color contrast chosen to meet AA for body text and controls
  • Text that can be zoomed to 200 percent without loss of content, and layouts that reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling
  • Animation that switches off when your device asks for reduced motion
  • Decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology, and text alternatives on meaningful images
  • Touch targets sized for thumbs on mobile
  • Tables that scroll inside their own frame on narrow screens instead of breaking the page

Known limitations

  • The animated water on the home page is decorative. It carries no information and is hidden from screen readers.
  • Wide comparison tables need horizontal scrolling on small phones. Each one has a caption and proper header cells so screen readers can read them by row and column.
